I signed up for my  first yoga series  and unlike many teachers it was not love at first class. Mid way through the session a love affair with yoga began as I became amazed at how my body and mind responded to yoga. I love playing in the yogic playground and experiencing the beauty and wisdom of different traditions. My classes are nourishing, empowering and uplifting based on the belief that we all need something different from Yoga.

I am  registered with the Yoga Alliance (ERYT 500, YACEP). I have a 200 hr Yoga Training from Salt Spring Center of Yoga, 300 Hr Training from Yoga for Today, 300 hr Training from Heart & Bones Yoga as well as I am certified from the Yoga Association of Alberta (500hr). I also have taken various workshops from many yoga teachers from around the world most recently completing the Detour Method Online  (DMO) training.

Along with Yoga training I have many different certifications including  Group Exercise Fitness Leader certification with AFLCA,  Personal Training certification through Canadian Society for  Exercise Physiology (CSEP -CPT) and a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CES). I also hold a Diploma in Personal Training from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. And just for laughs I like to throw in that I have a BA in Political Science from the University of Alberta.  Currently I am working on a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

​I offer group classes as well as individual yoga and personal training sessions.
